Respirar Es Oír Adentro

Inhalar para dejar pasar y en el tránsito percibir el ensamblaje: los modos en que nos afectamos mutuamente.
Prestar atención para detenerse en los ritmos que generan las alianzas entre la materia viva y no viva; hacer vibrar las clasificaciones, dejarlas de lado a favor de la constelación misma. Organismos maquínicos que en su conjunto hacen una proposición. Aparatos respiratorios, colonias de pólipos, energía. Entonces, oír.

Desplazar la demanda sonora de entendimiento por la de presencia y resonancia. Menos un estar ante que un estar entre. Abrir el cuerpo, atravesar el umbral, dejarse amplificar. Interrumpir momentáneamente el yo:  incorporarse a un ecosistema sonoro. La escucha como bóveda: Cada cuerpo resonante. Oír y resistir la urgencia de descifrar, consentir el trazo del tiempo a través del organismo. Notar la sensación y su despliegue a la vez.

Fuerzas eólicas, sistemas de aire, péndulos, hendiduras y amplificación dirigida. Respirar es oír adentro. Espacios que disuelven las fronteras definidas para buscar el recorrido intensivo de la materia: Este instrumento tensado de piel. “La voz como material incorpóreo, autónomo y libre, que florece fuera de la piel humana, en una lógica propia, inalcanzable para la voluntad de quien la emite”[1]. Membranas como superficies de inscripción, marcas que abren tanto el vacío como la posibilidad de epidermis. Entrada a una cavidad que se reparte. En el principio fue el barro. Humedad. Lo que toca es tocado a la vez. Madriguera donde circula el sonido. Actos de animación. Complicidades de tecnologías milenarias y actuales. Cuerpxs que interrumpen la linealidad del tiempo; distorsión.

Exhalar. Podríamos decir que sucedió esto o aquello, identificar los tonos, hacer de la señal un esquema, incluso una consigna. Inevitable la llegada del signo. Sin embargo, cada experiencia sostendrá lo singular de su evento. Quizá nunca se trató de estar en plenitud ante algo, sino de oír, diluirse, vibrar.

Breathing Is Hearing Inside

Inhale to let go and in transit perceive the assembly: the ways in which we affect each other. Pay attention to stop at the rhythms generated by the alliances between living and non-living matter; make the classifications vibrate, put them aside in favor of the constellation itself. Machinic organisms that as a whole make a proposition. Respiratory apparatus, colonies of polyps, energy. So hear.

Displacing the sound demand for understanding by that of presence and resonance. Less a being before than a being between. Open the body, cross the threshold, let yourself be amplified. Momentarily interrupting the self: joining a sound ecosystem. He listens to it as a vault: Each resonant body. Listen and resist the urge to decipher, consent to the trace of time through the organism. Notice the sensation and its unfolding at the same time.

Wind forces, air systems, pendulums, slits and directed amplification. Breathing is hearing inside. Spaces that dissolve the defined borders to search for the intensive course of matter: This instrument stretched out of skin. “The voice as incorporeal, autonomous and free material, which flourishes outside the human skin, in its own logic, unattainable by the will of the person who emits it”.
Membranes as inscription surfaces, marks that open both the void and the possibility of epidermis. Entrance to a cavity that is distributed. In the beginning was the mud. Humidity. What it touches is touched at the same time. Burrow where the sound circulates. Animation acts. Complicities of ancient and current technologies. Bodies that interrupt the linearity of time; distortion.

Exhale. We could say that this or that happened, identify the tones, make a scheme of the signal, even a slogan. The arrival of the sign is inevitable. However, each experience will sustain the uniqueness of your event. Perhaps it was never a question of being fully before something, but of hearing, diluting, vibrating.
